

Damon K. Travis, DO
Dr. Damon Travis is a board-certified family practitioner. He completed his undergraduate degree at Northeast Missouri State University and was selected to participate in an elite 90-hour early acceptance program at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree in 1985.
He completed his rotating internship in 1986 at Warren General Hospital, Warren, Ohio. Dr. Travis then moved to Harrisonville and purchased Dr. Green’s practice, which had been serving the community for more than 40 years. In 1989, he established Harrisonville Family Medicine.

Shaun B. Holden, MD
Dr. Holden is a board-certified family practitioner. He received his bachelor of arts degree in biology and his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City through the prestigious six-year B.A.M.D. medical program. He graduated in 1992.
Dr. Holden completed his family practice residency in Davenport, Iowa. In 1995, he moved to Harrisonville to join Harrisonville Family Medicine. Dr. Holden is the medical director of the Cass Regional Medical Center Wound Care Clinic and he is certified in wound care.
Dr. Holden is a native of Harrisonville and a graduate of Harrisonville High School. In his free time, Dr. Holden enjoys spending time with his wife, Susan, and their four children.

Aaron L. Travis, DO., FACOI
Dr. Aaron Travis is board-certified in internal medicine and currently is the only internist residing in Harrisonville. Dr. Travis received his bachelor’s of science degree from Northeast Missouri State University in 1987 and received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree in 1991 from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his residency at Riverside Hospital, Trenton, Mich., he joined his brother in private practice at Harrisonville Family Medicine. Dr. Travis also performs GI services at Cass Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Travis is the medical director of the Cass Regional Medical Center Intensive Care Unit, Outpatient Services, Cardiac Rehabilitation program, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and the Behavioral Health Unit. He personally created the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program to address the need for support services for cardiac patients in Harrisonville and surrounding communities.

Amy Marie Gibbens, MSN, FNP-C
Amy Gibbens received her bachelors of science in nursing at University of Central Missouri in 2006. She worked as a registered nurse in medical-surgical care unit for eleven years before coming to Harrisonville Family Medicine. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri in 2017 where she majored in the rural family nurse practitioner program. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner.
Amy finds great joy in caring for individuals throughout their lifespan. Her special interests include management of acute and chronic illness as well as pediatrics. She is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages and stages of life with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.
When she isn’t working with patients, Amy enjoys spending time with her two young children and her husband. Completing outdoor projects or just having fun together are the most favorite pastimes for Amy and her family. She enjoys scrapbooking all of the greatest memories, and is looking forward to even more busy times as her children begin school this year.

Taylor Lincoln, MSN, FNP-C
Taylor Lincoln is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences and her Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Missouri. Taylor began her nursing career in medical-surgical nursing eventually transferring to a hemodialysis center. Taylor has previous experience practicing in a rural health outpatient clinic as a family nurse practitioner prior to arrival at Harrisonville Family Medicine. Taylor enjoys all aspects of providing medicinal care, education and support to all patient populations. Her special interests include management of illnesses throughout the lifespan, women’s health, and pediatrics.

Tina R. Hill, FNP-C
Tina is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her associate’s degree in nursing from Park University in 2012. She has a variety of experience working as a registered nurse in medical-telemetry, critical care, and labor and delivery. In 2020, she earned her master’s degree from Research College of Nursing where she majored in the family nurse practitioner program. Prior to joining Harrisonville Family Medicine, she practiced as a nurse practitioner in a retail clinic. Her special interests are in wellness and disease prevention and she is committed to providing quality care to each patient.

Kristin L. Waugh, MSN, FNP-C
Kristin (Kris) Waugh is a Nurse Practitioner who holds a Master’s degree as Family Nurse Practitioner-Rural Health and Bachelors in Science; Nursing from the University of Central Missouri. Prior to Nursing, she had obtained a Bachelors of Science; Business Administration-Management. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
As a registered nurse she has experiences in the pediatric intensive care unit and dialysis. As a nurse practitioner she has worked in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine and Orthopedics. Her experiences in orthopedics allow her to offer many types of treatment options from conservative, to joint injections, basic fracture management, and laceration repair. She is a certified medical examiner for the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiner’s. During her education she was a regular member of the Dean’s list and a member of the Delta Epsilon Iota Honor Society. She is focused on improving the lives, quality and outcomes of the patients she is privileged to serve. She has worked with all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics. Personal satisfaction is gained from seeing patients regain function, mobility, and improve health; leading to improved quality of life.
Kris grew up in Blue Springs and moved to Pleasant Hill in 1989. She has raised her family, with her husband, in Cass County, Missouri. She enjoys many outdoor activities including, boating, skiing, biking, jogging and spending time with family and friends.

Jacob Smith, FNP-C
Jacob is a board-certified family nurse practitioner receiving his masters through University of Central Missouri. Prior to working at HFM, he worked doing geriatric primary care in the Kansas City area. As a registered nurse, Jacob worked at Children’s Mercy Hospital for six years in neurology, endocrinology, and pulmonology. He also worked in emergency medicine at Belton Regional Medical Center for two years. Prior to nursing, Jacob received a Bachelor’s in counseling from Calvary University and remains focused on improving mental health in the context of primary care.
Jacob is passionate about providing education on nutrition and exercise. He also focuses on providing care that is in alignment with the goals of the individual for better patient-centered care.
Jacob and his wife, Annie, live in south KC with their two young daughters, and enjoy many outdoors activities(like the idea of camping – preferring to keep camping trips to under 30 minutes).They are also involved in supporting foster families in the KC area through respite care.’

Stacie Kubicsko, NP-C
Stacie Kubicsko is a Nurse Practitioner who holds a Master’s Degree as Family Nurse Practitioner-Rural Health from the University of Central Missouri, and Bachelors in Science, Nursing from Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
As a registered nurse she has experience in Pediatrics, Pediatric Urgent Care, and some Emergency Medicine. As a nurse practitioner she has worked in Family Practice and Urgent Care, caring for patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric. Her goals are to work with patients and their family as a team member and to educate on wellness, disease prevention, and maintenance of chronic conditions. Personal satisfaction is gained from seeing patients learn and improve their own health issues, thus leading to improved quality of life.
Stacie grew up in South Kansas City and moved to Pleasant Hill in 2002. She raised her family, with her late husband, in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. She enjoys many activities including, swimming, mowing, movies, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
