What does The HFM Zone involve?
One of the most important aspects of The HFM Zone is the ongoing follow-up you will receive. Your first visit includes a complete health history and physical with Dr. Holden. At that time, he will discuss your health goals and if there are any current health concerns that should be addressed. He also will use laboratory testing to assess your overall health status to determine:
- Cardiovascular Health (Cholesterol, Lipids, and Inflammation Markers)
- Genetic Predisposition
- Thyroid Level
- Glucose level
- Hormone levels
- Vitamin deficiencies (including Vitamin D, Vitamin B-12, and Omegas)
Other testing may include:
- Body fat analysis
- Metabolic rate
- EKG
- Bone density testing
- Diagnostic studies as appropriate, such as X-rays, CT and MRI scans
During your second visit, Dr. Holden will review the results of your testing, and develop a plan just for you that incorporates the healthy lifestyle changes needed to help you achieve your goals. These changes may include a personalized diet and exercise plan and if needed a bio-identical hormone supplementation. Dr. Holden will monitor your progress on a monthly basis to be certain you are meeting your health goals.
